Classic but not super common boys name

I like the sound and vibe of the name Alexander, but would prefer something less common. It doesn’t need to be really rare- I’d prefer it if everyone has heard of it. Something where there’s less likely to be lots in the class. Without meaning to offend others, not keen on names I think of as more trend-led/of the moment like Arlo/Albie/ Roman. Not keen on what I’d think of as cheeky chappy names like Ronnie/Alfie. Not keen on more 80s names I see suggested on theses forums like Simon/Peter/Thomas. Names like Vincent/Felix/Quentin bit too left -field for me. Like Laurence but can’t use.
If you didn’t die of boredom reading that, please help !

Where in the "north"? If it's north-east, our local saints (Aidan, Bede, Cuthbert) are known-but-rare names.

I liked Robbie or Max but I had girls.

andrew with the nickname Drew is nice. Not so keen on Andy.

FWIW, I have a Joseph, which I think is about the same popularity as Alexander and it doesn't feel like there are too many about.
I was worried it was too common too but I'm glad it didn't stop me using it because it hasn't been an issue so far.

Frederick with nickname Rick if you don’t like Freddie? Or just Fred if it’s the cutesy “ie” ending you object to?

The Alexander I know has a brother called Geoffrey.

Rupert is classic, not super common name everyone has heard of but it’s on the up so might be getting too popular for you? Alternative could be Robert which is probably much less popular now!
