Had completely convinced myself that my next child was a boy and I’ve just found out it’s a little girl, which is wonderful (and terrifying) but I’m struggling for names.

I’m not a fan of anything too girly or pretty if you know what I mean. I quite like Harriet and Georgina but wondered if anyone had any other suggestions?

Thats so funny because ‘Harriet’ was exactly what popped into my mind as I read your thread title.

You’ve chosen two feminised versions of boy names (Harry, George) so how about:

Philippa
Alexandra
Frances/Francesca
Josephine

My first thought was Sarah. I think its not high in popularity anymore but a friend has a little girl called Sarah and it just really suits her.

I think Harriet is lovely. I also like Francesca and Abigail.

The only Jonathans I know are in their 50s, so their sisters are Becky/Karen/Tracey and Dawn! That probably doesn’t help you much…!

I love the name Harriet though.
