Isn't it interesting when once the child has been named people aren't so critical..or are we different people on this thread?? Dream is a bit out there for my taste tbh but if I knew him or her I might accept it as a perfectly nice name

Nothing wrong with the name I agree. Easy to pronounce and spell erase any preconceptions...it's a lovely name and should be reclaimed

Know of a few Hunters not overly keen, don't like Buddy as an official name..they are both adjectives

They’ll be our grandchildren, I’m sure of it 🙂 100 year cycles and all that. Tons of babies are named after their parents’ grandparents (see arthur, Edith etc all the rage at the mo).

Having said that I know 2 Desmonds, an Ian, a Derek, a Susie and a Sally-Ann all under 8. So maybe their parents are ahead of their time.

I also like the name Gary, only because I had a massive crush on a boy called Gary for years at school. His eyes were gorgeous.
