Thoughts on Theadosia:
Thumbs up. Thumbs down.

Theados(like a dose of medicine)A
Theadoz(like dozing)A
TheadosYA
TheadozYA

I like Theados(like a dose of medicine)A but worried others would pronounce it wrong.

I would guess Thea - dose (as in medicine)- ee- ah
but would say it with a question mark in my voice as it really isn't obvious.

I have seen Hamilton (once) and I didn't remember if from that, and of course the majority of the public won't have seen it, so I wouldn't rely on 'people knowing it from there'.

I really don't like it, so thumbs down from me.

I also associate it with Hamilton and would pronounce it like that.
It's quite a nice name but I would expect it to get shortened to Thea by friends/family/school friends.

The more I mutter it, the more I like it.

I would have said Theodose (medicine) ee A

This

Dreamingcats · 07/11/2022 23:05

I wouldn't know. First guess would be Thea-doe-see-a, second guess Thea-doe-sha.

"Theodosia Miriam Fern/Heather
or
Athena Miriam Fern/Heather/Cassandra"

I like Athena Miriam. I don't think you need a third name. Those two are good strong names.

MassiveSalad22 · 08/11/2022 09:36

Thea-doe-sha like the song :)

I’m dedicating every day to you,
Domestic life was never quite my style,
when you smile you knock me out, I fall apart

🎶🎶in my head now!

AdoraLovesCake · 08/11/2022 17:27

Thanks all. Right, I am not going for Theodosia now. Seems Athena is better, which was my thought even before Hamilton, or just Thea.

Athena is great. I know one in her twenties who isn't greek. It's a beautiful, strong and unique name.

Thea doe sha
