These are not on our list but names I encountered this past week. I'm curious to hear what you think of them and whether you find all of them usable:

Ayaka
Citra
Lindsay
Christabel
Makena

Makena is a name I loved as a teenager and I'm sort of liking it now. I pronounce it like Makenna/Mackenna. Would it be usable?

Which spelling of Lindsay is best? And I am aware that Lindsay is one that's not unusual ;)

My sixteen year old DD is Lindsay, I've always loved it but then I really like a lot of 80s/90s names

My daughter knew a McKenna at Primary school but (10 years ago).

I like Christabel best, because of the Pankhursts.

Ayaka is a name from Genshin Impact, not sure if that's the intention?

RambamThankyouMam · 05/11/2022 17:57

All dreadful.

Christabel is quite nice - I’d go for that

Lindsay is a dull 60s/70s name

Makena is a ludicrous spelling of McKenna, which is anyway a daft name for a girl

Citra sounds like a brand of bathroom cleaner

Ayaka sounds like Aye-yucker, so doesn’t translate into English well

I like Lindsay (I'd say it's pretty unusual now a days)Although I'd personally spell it Lynzee (I love unique spellings ill hold my hands up)
I also like McKena.
