Back to square one! Elodie?

We cannot agree now and just can’t find that right name so we have scrapped our list. I still want to hang in to Xanthe and Elowen but suddenly I’m thinking Elodie, am I mad?

I think it's a nice name, though it might be hard to avoid the ubiquitous nickname Ellie.

@babyjellyfish Interesting point. I think that might be because by the time British people get familiar with a certain French name (because of French celebrities and pop culture etc), it's already dated in France. Whereas many of the names that are stylish in France now like Agathe and Albane are unknown in the UK and would get an "umm, how do you pronounce that?" kind of reaction.
