I am starting to really like Meadow. Is it too much or do you think it would be a nice name for a girl ?

Sorry, not keen - in the Savannah, Summer, Ocean group.

I think Summer is a beautiful name. Definately not in the same group as the other names.

I think all those Meadow, Summer, River names are getting a bit naff

as others has said, really quite sweet for a little one but very hard to picture an adult being called Meadow and even though we shouldn’t judge by names people do, and always will, so you have to think about her future career or job roles she may apply for and whether or not they are likely to take her seriously upon seeing her name.

I know a little Canadian meadow. I met her in 2014 as a very cute baby so she must be about 8 by now! I like it. It's got a very American vibe but I don't see that as a negative thing. To me, it's similar to names like River, Sailor, Ocean, Story, True, etc.

I Know a meadow and she has a fab family, she’s a cool teen now and is a very lovely person. I think it’s not a name I’d choose myself but if we all liked the same names we would all be called the same! If you like it then go for it!

I like nature names but Meadow is too twee for me. I can imagine her growing up to be an artist or an actress or something, or maybe a socialite, but not a CEO or solicitor or the prime minister! I know a little Blossom and that's in the same camp IMO.

My friend called her DS Forest, he hated it as he was teased and as soon as he was old enough he changed it.
