I scour the baby threads regularly but I’m still having trouble narrowing down names for our baby boy

Dh and I like the following:

Caleb
Bohdi
Seb
Gene - dh doesn’t like

I’m not keen on classic boys names like George, Christopher, Arthur etc.

Our daughter has a lovely name people will have heard of but it’s not popular.

Based on our small list of names, please can you suggest names you think we will like?
Thank you!

I'm a teacher so have experienced quite a few name owners.

Caleb is lovely and is different but easy to say and recognise.
Arlo is different but again easy to say.
I have taught a Wilf but that is a character in Biff and Chip books.
Louie is lovely but a recent royal name so may get quite popular.
Aled is a lovely name and not used much.
Finn another short one.

Names are difficult as you don't want one everyone has but they need a good long term name that lasts and never sounds wrong.

I have always loved the name Caleb.

Also, Noah, Sam and Luke.

Thank you for all your suggestions, some lovely names here.

We are going to add Saul and Miles to the list, I like Micah, Jasper too, as well as Casper.

Caleb is popular on this thread too :)
I really like it, dh does too but he doesn’t love it. We didn’t find our dds name till quite late on, but when we came across it, we just knew that was the one!

@stayingaliveisawayoflife Yes, it’s finding a balance isn’t it? We want a name that’s not too obscure but not super popular either.
Arlo has a nice sound to it - I think there will be quite a few baby Arlo’s in the next few years!

Caleb, Micah and Jasper are my favourites from all the suggestions. I also like your new suggestion of Saul, it’s really under used and I think it has a lovely sound to it :)
