Which goes better?

I am due to give birth to my son and i have chosen the name Luca i want his middle name to be Stanley-Aaron after my dad Stanley and my partners mum Sharon so it would be Luca Stanley-Aaron ( surname ) the problem is i am not sure if Luca Aaron-Stanley sounds better what is everyones thoughts on this also the name in general?

It’s a nice name ☺️ The Aaron first is softer sounding I’d say so I’d choose that

I think they sound fine either way around actually. I like Luca a lot as a first name. Did you mean to have a hyphen in there? If so I don’t like it, 2 middle names are fine, the hyphen is a bit naff.

Double-barrelled middle names are awful.

Luca = puker.

Aaron Stanley is nice.

I think Luca Aaron Stanley sounds better, and no hyphen. As Aaron sounds more like a middle name and Stanley more like it could be a surname so seems better last.

Did I understand correctly that the Aaron is after your mum Sharon though? The link seems to only be that they rhyme? Is there maybe a last name to use? Aaron is lovely on its own but I’m just not sure I see the link to Sharon. If it’s about honouring his side of the family then maybe her last name or her dads name could work too?

I wouldn’t hyphenate. If Aaron is named for Sharon, don’t you need to have the S name first? Stanley Aaron. However, Aaron and Sharon don’t sound very similar, so it seems odd to use Aaron. Sharon is a male name in some countries. You could use it as it is, without changing it to Aaron.

I think it works both ways round.
Slightly prefer Luca Aaron Stanley as Luca Stanley runs into each other when I say it and becomes Lucas Tanley

Luca Stanley Aaron sounds best to me, otherwise the end of Luca and beginning of Aaron merge together.

either way pretty much no-one will ever speak the whole name out loud so doesn’t matter

Luca Aaron Stanley sounds better to my ear but realistically he isn't going to get called his full name very often so I wouldn't waste too much time mulling it over

You know Aaron is pronounced AIR-run? If you want a name to rhyme with Sharron you could have Arran like the islands which is a unisex name

I have never met an Aaron that says it Air-on they have always rhymed with Sharon. Where do people say it Air-on?

Aaron is pronounced Air-on and always has been - I grew up in the North, in a church-going family, and now live down South. The biblical figure is Air-on. If you want Arran, as in the island, best write it as such.
