Which name has more global appeal, style, substance, and a nicer ring to it? In other words (it's Satisfying and pleasing to the ear)

  1. Ace: means one who excels, #1 or expert.
  2. Lucky: means fortunate.
  3. Lavish: means Rich, cute, and lovable as a name. As a word means extravagant and abundant.

I thought you were asking if you should call your baby Namenerd!

My first though too..... Grin

Sorry OP, but none of those names have either style, nor a nice ring to them.

I'm not sure how a name can have 'substance'

I adore these. Especially Noble and Able. You dislike lucky?

Not a fan of lucky. Cassius or Shakur are cool

RegalChase · 19/07/2022 00:06

Great input

For a human. A nickname for a human.

For a human. A nickname for a human.

Oh! A nickname? Not a 'real' name?

Substance in the context of quality, appeal, and meaningful. This is for a Nickname not a given name

What's your point?? Respectfully

Able would be awful for a kid who frankly wasn't very. And looks like a misspelling of Abel, the mythological first murder victim.

Cassius is a real name so would be a bit of an odd choice as a nickname. Unless your real name happened to be Mohammed Ali, I suppose.Grin

Kite22 · 19/07/2022 00:14

I'm even more confused now.

Nicknames evolve. From something a child says as a toddler or something they do as a child or something they look like as a teen. They aren't things your research and decide upon, as parents of the child.

ErrolTheDragon · 19/07/2022 00:15

Sorry, spelled that the wrong way, Ali was Muhammad with a u not an o.

RegalChase · 19/07/2022 00:16

Lol, great humor

Google is your best friend. Simply type lavish name meaning... Thanks for your input anyhow.

Oh well, if it comes up in a Google search it can’t possibly be made-up nonsense

Pallisers · 19/07/2022 00:34

it might have been helpful if you asked which nickname was better.

RegalChase · 19/07/2022 00:46

Will do

Do you live/from Croydon by any chance?

Kite22 · 19/07/2022 17:51

What a bizarre thread

Lalalaleeloo · 19/07/2022 22:58

Who are you naming/nicknaming? Nobody has any idea what you're babbling on about, op.

bitelover · 20/07/2022 13:41

Is this a nickname for a child or yourself?

I don't think any of these have "global appeal".

I wouldn't call a child Lucky or Lavish.
Ace seems somewhat more wearable to me, but it does also have the slang meaning of asexual.

17caterpillars1mouse · 20/07/2022 14:10

I quite like Lucky or the similar sounding Lachie and a NN for Lachlan.

I once new an Ace short for Aeson. It suited him.

Lavish is a bit too out there for me

LT2 · 20/07/2022 20:25

Ace

daisypond · 21/07/2022 08:10

All those names are terrible and have no global appeal. Ace would be the best of a bad bunch.
