Esmé pronounce Es-mey and not EsMe

I have to say that esme is so so so popular around my way (south west). It is like the Isla of 11 years ago.

I do think both names are pretty, and like I said earlier Esme is so so popular where we are right now. But names become popular for a reason! They tend to be very nice. One of mine has what is a top 10 name (and for years.... ). He does get a bit bored of being [name] S and one of several in every year group. But even so it is a solid name that hopefully will stand the test of time.
