Struggling to decide!

Hello, I'm wondering if anyone is to provide some opinions on our name shortlist as we are really struggling to decide for our baby girl's name due in July. We need to have Joan as a middle name as this is the name of my partner's nana who recently passed away. I like short pretty names, not overly concerned if a name is popular, just want to find something that is easy to pronounce and spell and isn't embarrassing for the child in the future 🙂 Our surname is also short and begins with A. Any other suggestions welcome. Thanks!

Ava
Chloe
Amy or Aimee
Emilia
April
Eloise
Lyla or Lilah
Lelia
Amber

Ava - nice
Chloe - like it but it doesn't go with Joan
Amy or Aimee - nice
Emilia - nice and sounds the best with Joan
April - nice
Eloise - it's OK but don't think it really goes with Joan
Lyla or Lilah - Lila or Lilah, not Lyla
Lelia - do you mean Leila? Leila is nice
Amber - it's OK

If you chose an A name and you say your surname is also A , do they go together and do you like the sound of it ?

The middle name will hardly get used. Names ending in a will run into the surname.

e.g. Victoria Radams, Anna Randrews

Ava - popular but pretty
Chloe - I'm not keen. Much prefer Zoe or Cleo
Amy or Aimee - I find Amy a bit dull and Aimee is a very annoying spelling
Emilia - I love this
April - ok
Eloise - don't like
Lyla or Lilah - don't like
Lelia - don't like
Amber - really don't like

Emilia would be my favourite but Ava is lovely too
