Bess?

Would like to know what associations you have with the name Bess. What comes to mind when you hear it? (Prob Elizabeth on bc.)

Blimey it's pretty dark upon re-reading...

It will wind up being Bessy most likely. On a personal note, I have a friend of the age of my grandmother who when she still drove had a car which she called Bessy. I will always associate that name with a car.

Cows or big draught horses. Or fishwives.

Tess is so much nicer.
Also Betsy, or Bette/Betty.
