Skye or Skylar for a girl

Hello there,

I can not decide on which name to chose out of Skye and Skylar. I also like Willow and Alana too!

like earthy names for some reason 😅

what do people prefer?

all thoughts considered and helpful 😀

Skylar reminds me of Breaking Bad. But Skye is nice, I'd go with that or Willow.

I prefer Skye
Skylar makes me think Skylark
Willow is lovely as well and what do you think of Autumn as a name?

Skye is nice. I think Skylar is going to depend a lot on the accent of the area in which you live as I hate it in my accent.

In my primary school currently (mainly in Reception/Year 1) we have three girls called Sky, one called Skye, two called Skyla and two called Skylar. It gets very confusing and really puts me off those names!

Both are good but I prefer Skye. As others have said, Skylar reminds me of Breaking Bad

I love Willow best. I don't like the R on Skylar so would have Skyla.

I was also torn between those two names but we decided on Skye . However we had a boy so it never got used . Both are beautiful names but Skye is extra special to me .

Willow-Skye is a straight no from me. Too naturey and hyphenated names ruin both names

I think Skye is a bit more classic, so I'd go for that. Skylar is a bit 'of the moment'.
