Ava or Lily

Hi all
so I’m currently expecting my first baby and having a mare trying to come up with a name that we can both agree on.

OH loves Lily which i think lovely but common.
I love Lola but he isn’t keen so I suggested Ava which again is lovely but is this common Also?

Middle name would be Rae after my sister Rachel or May which is my middle name.

I’m really after a pretty name but not where she would go to school and there be numerous other kids with the same name.

Why not use Rachel for the middle name instead of just Rae?

I prefer Evie to Ava it sounds friendlier

I love Lola too, would your partner be happy with Lulu?

I think Ava is really common so that would put me off. May/ Rae/ Mae make it sound like a country singer's name. So Rachel better than Rae in my opinion.

If your OH likes Lily and you like Lola, then maybe another L name?
