Hi everyone, after a long, tough TTC conceive journey we are finally expecting our little miracle baby girl. We had lots of names on a list built up over about 5 years 😂and have narrowed it down to these:

Ivy
Rosalie

Savannah
Georgia
Chloe
Sophia
Sienna

What is everyone's favourite?

Sienna is my absolute fave and one I would choose if I had a daughter.... If my husband would let me, which he won't Sad

Also love Savannah

Mumofgirls2017 · 23/03/2022 21:24

Ivy or Rosalie

DramaAlpaca · 23/03/2022 21:28

I like Rosalie very much, it's my favourite.

Also like Ivy, Sophia and Sienna but they are very popular.

I don't like Savannah or Chloe and I detest Georgia (sorry).

shreddednips · 23/03/2022 21:59

Love Rosalie, agree with PPs that Rosanna and Natalie are also very nice alternatives in a similar vein. Quite like Georgia too but not as much. Like Sienna and Savannah the least.

Frazzled2207 · 23/03/2022 22:01

Rosalie
Bit different
So many Ivys Chloes Sophias and Siennas.

Less Georgias and Savannahs admittedly but to me they’re places not people

MintyGreenDream · 23/03/2022 22:01

Sienna and savannah are the only ones I haven't heard in my school job.

Frazzled2207 · 23/03/2022 22:03

Ps I would def say rose-a-Lee and would need to be corrected if pronunciation would be roz-a-lee

CakesOfVersailles · 23/03/2022 22:03

I like Rosalie and Sophia best from your list.

dictatorboss · 23/03/2022 22:05

My order of preference for these names would be:

  1. Rosalie - I adore this, this was one of my top names if we had a girl 😊
  2. Georgia
  3. Ivy
  4. Sophia
  5. Chloe
6.savannah
  1. Sienna
WeasilyPleased · 23/03/2022 22:22

Rosalie is gorgeous. Love it.

Porkmore · 24/03/2022 09:36

Georgia or Sienna. I'd probably say Georgia, I love it but couldn't use it because of family

Whatsinaname4 · 24/03/2022 09:48

Ivy and Rosalie are my favourites. Which names goes best with your surname? For example we couldn’t use Ivy as surname also ends in -ee sound

Ivy - lovely

Rosalie - beautiful and I love the thin lizzy song

Savannah - Sorry but I think it’s really chavy

Georgia - lovely name just try avoid an insipid middle name (e.g. Georgia rose, Georgia mae) as I know lots of little girls with those

Chloe - not a fan very over used

Sophia - lovely name but quite popular

Sienna - not a nice name and doesn’t give off good vibes

M0rT · 24/03/2022 09:54

They are all nice names, maybe try them in the accent where you live if it's not your own accent?
Sienna, Savannah and Georgia would all sound odd in my local accent.
I know two Roz's also, so if you like that as nickname Rosalie is lovely.

BeKind2022 · 24/03/2022 09:57

Congratulations 🎈

As a Sophia myself I can confirm it stands the test of time (am over 40!). I have always been glad to have a classic name that has not dated.

I also love Chloe and Ivy from your list.

MysticCT · 24/03/2022 09:59

I like Georgia and Sienna the best.

Mamadooley · 24/03/2022 12:48

Deffinetly Ivy for me

KirstenBlest · 24/03/2022 15:14

Ivy - dislike
Rosalie - not keen but I like Rosalind
Savannah - Chavannah
Georgia - ok
Chloe - know far too many of them
Sophia - know far too many of them
Sienna - not keen

BiscuitLover3678 · 24/03/2022 15:17

Doesn’t matter what I think, only how much you love saying them! But here is my view:

Ivy - I love this, especially for a winter baby. Cute. Quite popular though.
Rosalie - nice, sort of girly
Savannah - not a fan for some reason. Feels very ‘American’. Nothing wrong with this but not my style.
Georgia - I like it
Chloe - nice but very safe and a bit 90s
Sophia - too dull imo, makes me think of a blond private school girl and there are three of them in a class
Sienna - gorgeous
