I love Madeline, and Zoe (without the 'y') and I also like Phoebe, Clementine and Elizabeth (very classic).

For boys I really like James and Zachary, and Caspian is maybe OK. Toby is a bit of a dogs' name and Digby is definitely a dogs' name (isn't there a cartoon Old English sheepdog called this?). Charles, well sounds a bit pretentious (although Charlie is cute) and reminds me of the prince, I don't like him. Lochlan, very Australian somehow (is it Rupert Murdoch's son?). Maxwell - coffee. Just Max is nice though.

Don’t like the rest.

Penelope - 6/10 nice name I also think Penny is quite cute. I’ve only ever looked after one, I used to say her name like envelope to make her laugh.
Elizabeth - 6/10 nice, lots of options.
Clementine - 4/10. I know there’s nothing wrong with this name but I hate it.
Hermione - 5/10 I actually like it but I’d just assume the person was a huge Harry Potter fan. I am a Harry Potter fan but I always find it a bit cringe when people use their kids to advertise their favourite fandoms. I realise it’s a classic name etc but it’s just so so linked with Harry Potter that it would be most people’s first thought.
Phoebe - 5/10 it’s okay.
Madeline - 6/10 I like it, would probably be called Maddie.
Zoey - 4/10 I just think it’s a bit blah compared to a lot of your choices.
Felicity - 8/10 so nice. Reminds me of a Malory towers girl!
Beatrice - 9/10 I really like Beatrice.

Toby - 7/10 nice friendly name
Digby - 2/10 feels like he’d wear short trousers and say ‘yah’ before every sentence.
Lochlan - 4/10. It’s ok.
James - 6/10 decent name nothing really to say about it though. Like a safe choice.
Oscar - 3/10 I don’t like it but I don’t really know why.
Charles - 7/10 nice name, I like Charlie too.
Zachary - 8/10 I like Zac for short, I’ve only ever looked after one Zachary and he was lovely.
Maxwell - 8/10 nice, I like Max too. Friendly name.
James - lol I guess I’ll give it an extra point if you like it enough to put it twice.
Caspian - see Hermione.
