Names that for me make me think of the arts are Violetta, Mimi, Margot, Isolde, Carmen, Manon, Salome… What about Shakespeare? Lots of fabulous names there which might have a more obvious connection to the arts.

Thanks everyone,

I’m really loving Isadora and Serena. So I’m adding that to my list and I’ve removed Sienna .

New list:

Serena
Isadora
Amelie
Elodie
Ottilie
Emmeline

Serena - Serena Williams or Serena from Handmaid's tale
Isadora - Björk's daughter, cool, but also a make up brand?
Amelie - the film
Elodie - french, pretty
Ottilie - I had never heard of this until recently, seems very aristocratic
Emmeline - pankhurst, very cool connection
Odette - Swan Lake and french 😍

@Whycantibetangy 🙂 it's Ermintrude in the Magic Roundabout.

For me:
Sienna - a misspelling of the city, which is Siena
Aurelia - a lovely Latin name, one of the characters in my Latin textbook had this name (the other girl was Cornelia).
Amelie - the film.
Ottilie - try hard
Elodie - nice but a bit limp
Cassia - it's a tree isn't it? Cassia bark springs to mind. Sounds Nice but don't know much about it.
Emmeline - Pankhurst, a bit froufrou for me (along with Adeline, Christabelle, Sylvia and other Edwardian names)

My husband's name is French and both he and our son have accents in their names (including our surname). We always use the accents but if you're not going to (or you're going to ignore how the accent affects pronunciation) then don't.
