What would you use for a sibling for Iona and Alasdair? Both have Scottish first names and more traditional UK middle names, such as John.

I have a Struan. It's still my favourite name (don't tell his 2 brothers Grin). Bah to your DH!
SirChenjins · 11/01/2022 16:22

Oh you’re so lucky!! It’s a gorgeous name Smile There was a Struan at our local garage that I kept trying to pair up with my DD simply because I loved the name - she wasn’t having any of it Grin.

He's the only one in his entire, large secondary and I've only ever met 2 more in my life. It's definitely more popular on the East Coast, but we're on the West.

Mind you, he goes to school with a Murdo and a Nairn and I think they're equally fab and have name envy for my other 2 DS!

midsomermurderess · 11/01/2022 18:31

Some more lovely suggestions, had forgotten Kester, love Struan but already know one so can't use it unfortunately. Catriona and Clara both possible, and Rory, Rowan 🙂
