Sorry I know I've posted about names a few times, husband and I still are still struggling to find the one!

Which of these do you like?

And any other similar suggestions??? (We like names that are a bit more unusual, we want her to stand to out and not have the same name as others in school)

Her big sisters name is Dakota😊

Zadie
Tegan / Teigan
Kendall
Kennedy
Azalea / Azalia
Shelbie / Shelby
Peyton
Paisley
Brinkley
Oakleigh
Waverley
Harlyn
Casey

Peyton is the only name of those I'd consider.

Saylor?

viques · 06/01/2022 23:58

I think she will stand out for all the wrong reasons with most of those names, sorry. I quite like Zadie though.

BungleandGeorge · 07/01/2022 00:00

I think Tegan is the best option

generallyfailing · 07/01/2022 00:01

Zadie and Goldie are both lovely

DramaAlpaca · 07/01/2022 00:32

The only ones I like at all are Zadie and Tegan.

pinksquash13 · 07/01/2022 00:35

I like Peyton (oth fan) or Honey

SageRosemary · 07/01/2022 00:40

Call her Rosemary, she's unlikely to have another one in her class.

Zadie.

But as a curve ball, how about Indiana?

LadyGAgain · 07/01/2022 01:01

Nina

Pemba · 07/01/2022 01:04

Zadie is the only one I like. Tegan is OK I suppose. You have very different taste in names from me. Why so many place names?

Snugglybuggly · 07/01/2022 01:29

@viques

Agreed... most of them are surnames
Hydrate · 07/01/2022 01:57

My pick from your list is Tegan / Teigan.

Hydrate · 07/01/2022 01:59

Honey for a middlename maybe.

MysticCT · 07/01/2022 02:06

I really like Peyton.

rmummyofone · 07/01/2022 02:07

I like very floraly names lol thought I'd drop my little list for anyone who may be interested anyway :)

foxgoosefinch · 07/01/2022 02:10

Zadie is the only one I like and it does go well. Kennedy also goes well with Dakota but it isn’t a name I’d pick. I like a pp’s suggestion of Nina. The others on the list sound a bit too dated-American to me - Peyton and Waverley make me think of 1980s TV-movie socialites with puffed sleeve cocktail dresses - sorry!

I met a little girl recently called Amadea - and thought that was a beautiful name! It would go really well with Dakota.

foxgoosefinch · 07/01/2022 02:13

Oh and please don’t call the poor child Harlyn! It will make everyone think of Harlot!

If you like Bellamy (I agree with pp, too David) - what about Jessamy or Jessamyn?

DotDotDotDotDot · 07/01/2022 05:56

I like Zadie from your list, but then I seem to like lots of Z names. Maybe Zoë, Zélie, Zara?
Surnames as first names are not my usual taste but I really like Everly, I think it goes well with Dakota.

Nononoah · 07/01/2022 06:03

Peyton

Totalwasteofpaper · 07/01/2022 06:07

Zadie is the only one on that list I'd consider using.

HoliHormonalTigerlilly · 07/01/2022 06:19

How about Paloma?

Kanaloa · 07/01/2022 06:21

I replied on your other thread but I think Kendall is nice and goes with Dakota. Also think Kennedy and Casey are nice and very wearable names.

I’m not keen on any of the others and would really dislike to be called Honey or Goldie. They’re more cat names than names for a real living woman who might be any type of person.
