Really struggling to name our 2nd boy, I like a few names but don't love any.

My son is 32, Charles Daniel. We always called him Chad, as an acronym, but he uses Charlie now. Dearest friends two boys, like grandchildren to me, are Declan and Desmond. They are 8 and 3.

Nephews are Wyatt, Owen, Thomas and Arthur

where we come from you have to decide a name by the time you leave the hospital and they give you the proper paperwork (1st round, you then have to do a 2nd round with the council within 2 months)

I had complications, so we were in the hospital for 6 days.
Every day the admin lady came in, asked the name and then refused to write it on the paperwork. As it is "not a proper name" according to her. It is in the book of names allowed in the country. First 3 days I was in and out, had transfusions, barely alive. but day 4-5 annoyed me to the point that on day 6, when i saw she wrote Miroslav on the paperwork I lost is quite spectacularly.

What’s your great grandfathers names on either side?

My great great great grandad was called Garrett Kenny, which just makes me think of a Marshal or Sheriff from a Western.
