Names like Vita, but for a boy.

I love the name Vita for a girl. Someone on a recent thread described it as

Has that ''glamorous and slightly scandalous doyenne of 1920s intellectual society set' vibe for me.

Which is a fantastic description.

But I’m having a boy - so help me find an equally fabulous name for him.

Italian males called Vittorio are often called Vito for short.

Basically, for that 1920s/30s vibe, just open any copy of a Wodehouse book…

Also, there’s a boy in my DD’s class called Virgil. Great name!

The obvious one would, of course be Vito. A name in its own right (as a nickname for Vittorio the pronunciation is different with the stress firmly on the "o" as opposed to the "I"
It doesn't have a 1920s vibe though. It's just an old-fashioned name that hasn't come back into fashion. Any Italian Vito under 50 was named after their Grandad.
I teach 300 kids a week and don't have one.
