Claribel, your thoughts on the name?

Hello lovelies,

I’m 18 weeks pregnant with my second, and it’s a girl. 🥰

My first daughter name is Roselina.
Now, for this one I’ve liked Claribel, what are your thoughts? Or any suggests are welcome.

Annie and Clarabel the carriages from Thomas!

Sounds like a brand name, maybe like a dishwasher tablet

Claribel sounds like some sort of prescription medication, sorry.

Either way there’s better names out there

Thomas is dying out so I wouldn't worry about the Clarabel / Annie thing.

I like it. I don't have the associations others have mentioned.

I'd definitely go for Christabel instead (lovely name!), or something similar like Mirabelle, Marielle, Mariana. Leonie, which a pp suggested, also goes beautifully with your other DD's name.

I met a little girl toddler over the summer called Amadea - that struck me as a really lovely, unusual name!

Makes me think of Babybel even though names like Annabel etc. don't.

I’m not keen sorry but I do love the suggestion of Christabel.

I prefer Clara or Christabel; Claribel/Clarabel has too strong an association with children's TV and farmyard animals for me, sorry.

Imo it is a nickname version of Claire?Clare

I know a Clare and her family all call her Clarabelle.
