Hannah, Emily or Charlotte

We’re trying to narrow down our girls choices and these are the current front runners. Which would you choose (and/or what else might we like?)

We do like Sophie and Katherine (nn Katie) too but already have both in the family. Surname is long and starts with a W.

I like them all in the following order
Hannah
Emily
Charlotte

I really wanted to use Hannah but DH wasn't keen.

I love all of your names, you have great taste. Alice might be another one to throw into the mix as it sort of seem to fit. As does my dd's name but I can't say it on here.

Ah thanks everyone, nice to see lots of comments about them being lovely names as I do love them all! I think Hannah is in the lead here and in my head too: I agree it’s the least used whilst still being quite classic and I like that.

Emily, Charlotte, Hannah. In that order

I was going to be named Emily but my parents decided I wasn’t dainty enough 😂 so I ended up as another of the names on the list - let's just say I’m gratified as the results of your straw poll 😂 (except for the comment about never meeting a nice Hannah, I'll have you know I’m lovely 😂😂)

Charlotte definitely.

Not a fan of the others but Hannah's my least favourite.

Hannah. Because it is lovely, and because it would be quirky and cool to have a palindrome for a name.

So rare I love all the names! Struggling to choose actually, i think I like Charlotte most of all. Can you please also choose my boy’s name

I think all three are a bit boring but Hannah is the best of the bunch. I really really love Anna and sometimes wish I had used it for my daughter instead of the name we picked. How about Esther, Rachel or Helen?

My dd is 18 now but the most popular girls' name in her secondary school was Hannah, closely followed by Anna. I know so many Hannahs (and unlike the earlier posters I know quite a few who are annoying). I don't dislike the name but I find it a bit simpering and it doesn't feel very substantial.
They're all too popular for me but otherwise I would go for Charlotte which I love them Emily which is ok then Hannah.

I agree, Emily is lovely, but Charlotte and Hannah are also very nice names. Although, like some pps I really prefer Anna to Hannah.

Nice to see classic names being chosen, instead of some of the weird faddy choices a lot of new parents are making these days.

Can’t get excited about any of them sorry - popular super dull names. I would want something more special for my child. Not a crazy name but not one of these over used ones.

Something like Miranda, Susannah, Mary, Hester something still classic but refreshing rather than just using the same few names that everyone else uses.

Hannah. Emily is so bland and overdone; it's the white bread of names. Charlotte isn't bland but is becoming very popular (if that bothers you). Hannah is lovely and you hear us far less often.

Emily is my favourite, Hannah I like and is possibly less heard of.
