Any suggestions?
We like
Fox
Wolf though won't use these as they're a bit too "out there" for us

Also
Forrest
River
Rowan

Considered Rio as a River alternative but there's that footballer...

Any ideas? Thank you

Thank you! I love Rowan. My other DC name has been mentioned there. Interesting to think that names I consider 70s are nature names too!
And Grin at Leviathan/Whale. I hope it's not a whale 😂😂

Basil & Rowan are both traditional names that were used in the early 1900s of you want a classic name?

A real shame Rowan with W is getting so popular at the same time as Roman with M has risen over 650 places in the charts. I know 3 baby boy RoMans, 2 baby girl RoWans and 1 baby boy RoWan. Looking at the statistics it's not surprising I know so many given how much the names have catapulted up the charts. I worry Ro-- names feel quite overdone and dated already.

How about Fraser. I think it's a strawberry plant.

You could think about having Fox or Wolf as a middle name if you like them but a bit nervous to use as first name? Just a suggestion anyway. I think they're nice as first names in their own right.

I absolutely love Fox. I almost wish it would take off a bit so it’s not such a wacky choice. Hunter has become mainstream so maybe Fox will too :)

Unfortunate typo! Will keep it in mind next time someone is asking for DIY inspired names though Smile

MeAndDebbieMcGee · 19/09/2021 01:13

😂

The list itself is great tho.

MrsEricBana · 19/09/2021 01:14

Brock. Love this and viable alternative to Wolf, Bear, Fox etc I'd say.

Kanaloa · 19/09/2021 01:14

River is nice. I’m really not keen on the others, especially Fox and Wolf. They’re not very versatile names and I don’t think they’d ‘grow’ well.

MrsEricBana · 19/09/2021 01:15

(or Swampy, Stumpy, Twiggy...)

DustyDood · 19/09/2021 01:17

Thank you! I love nature names Flowers

I didn’t actually suggest Fox or Wolf though I do like them both. The latter could be associated with Wolf from Gladiators of course, not that that would be a problem with me as I met him once at the Tamworth Snow Dome and he was kind enough to pose for a photo with me in a headlock Grin
