Short, uncommon boys’ names

We are expecting a second DS and really struggling with a name. Our shortlist is:

Beck
Sonny
Kit
Milo
Jesse
Beau
Rudy
Ace

But none of these is quite it. Ideally it wouldn’t be shortened. We like nature names, slightly unusual names, keen to avoid the ‘classics’ as these don’t suit us. If we like the above, what else might be in the ballpark?

Mind you don't be fooled into thinking a short name can't be shortened.
Kian for example could easily become Kee.

I thought Bay & Asa when I read your OP, I can see I wasnt alone!

I love most of the names on your list, but Asa/Ace are my ultimate favourites, still gutted DP wouldn't agree to either 😭

For me Mac is incomplete but Mack isn't. I know a 14y old Mack and it really suits him.
