Tia is a very common name around here, I know at least three, they are all 12.

Caliexpidocioussuper · 22/07/2021 21:58

I once met a little Connemara at a baby group.

Apparently Courtney and Jade are on the way out. Couldn't move for high school age Courtneys about 15 years ago. I used to think it was my generation 's homage to grunge, but I think someone had a baby called Courtney on Eastenders.

@BreatheAndFocus Hephzibah and Linnet were both on the longlist for DD, as were Loveday, Clodagh and several other names which have been mentioned on here. I think I read too many books with interestingly-named characters.

BunnyRuddington · 22/07/2021 22:34

BunnyRuddington would Magenta be about 28 now - dad was a printer?

No, it must be another one. Can't be too many around though surely? Smile

Lalux · 22/07/2021 22:35

My dd is Rosina named after my Grandma (it was her middle name). Not many with her name and everyone comments on how pretty it is.

LactoseTheIntolerant · 22/07/2021 22:37

I was at school with an Alethea, Pia and Portia I don't think I've come accross any since.

BunnyRuddington - There were 3 girls called Strawberry is 2012 too.

Now that's one name I've never met anyone with!

Just caught up with the thread a bit and have spotted DD's name. We have met one other and someone with a different spelling but that's it so far.

KingdomScrolls · 22/07/2021 22:39

Genitalia I had a summer job where we used to personalise things for people, the woman checked three times and then phoned to double check the spelling as it was a friend's daughter.

CityDweller · 22/07/2021 22:40

I once met a baby girl called Five. No idea what the story was there!

I also know an (adult) Adeline, which I think is a nice, unusual name.

KingdomScrolls · 22/07/2021 22:41

I also went to school with a girl called Velvyn
