Fresh sounding names

I am due anytime and don't know if it's a boy or a girl. I appreciate that 'fresh' is fairly subjective, but essentially I want something that has history but isn't out of place today. My other child has a name ending in 'o', which I think often lends a certain energy to a name but I'm not too sure about 2 o-ending names together (not totally discounted). I am especially lost on boys' names so any ideas would be most welcome! I don't mind unusual but would rather not top 100.

To give ideas (but none feel quite right) we like Felix, Ludo, Guy (not sure this sounds fresh, though!) for boys and Tess, Flora, Beatrix for girls.

Bede

I've never met a Bede, how do you pronounce it (hopefully not like Bidet).

I once met a Hebe and she was quite cool.

Cherry

My DM had a male neighbour as a child whose first name was Cherry. My DM was born in the 30s so he was likely to be Victorian.

I think sometimes the Victorians were a lot less rigid than we can be with names.
