Twin girl names

Hello all.
My boyfriend and I are expecting twin girls! We had the names Violet and Hazel picked out and were so set on them, but then for some reason - I don’t actually know why? - I just completely went off the names. I can’t explain why I did, but they just don’t feel right at all now.
So now we are back to square one!
We can’t think of anything or agree on any names now.
I already have an Eden Grace and Zoë Nicole from my previous marriage, so I can’t use either of those names.
Also not keen on Lily, Leah, Amelia, Ellie/Ella, Sophia, Isla, Ava, Evie or Poppy as they are all very overused names around where I live.

We want something ‘normal sounding’ - nothing TOO unique or “out there”, and nothing TOO old fashioned.

The last name/father’s name is one syllable and begins with W.
Please help!

My friend has twins called Amalia and Amelia
Pretty names but awful on so many levels!!!!!

Violet and Hazel are a great combo and lovely names!

Hello, yes I had my twins a while ago now thank you, and yes we chose the names Heather and Cherry 😊

I do really like Violet and Hazel too but some similar ones that could work could be...

Willow and Iris
Mabel and Cora
Ivy and Etta
Laurel and Nina
Olive and Rowan
Ada and May

I’ve already given birth and named my babies. I didn’t want Hazel and Violet.

I can't stand either Violet or Hazel so well done!

They're in fashion now but your instinct is correct. Ok, they're old names, but they're just not that nice - both harsh. They've popped into favour now, but they will soon go out again. Violet was the last of the flower names to be revived for a good reason!- Vi is hideous.
