Baby boy names

We are having a baby boy, due in July! My partner has a family tradition of using the middle name John for a boy.

We are stuck between the following combos:
Arthur John
George John
James John

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Arthur John sounds best, by a mile.

Edward John
Oliver John
Stanley John
Theodore John

Arthur John works well, other two don’t. Arthur is lovely but obvs very popular

Maybe something longer - Nathaniel John, Alistair John, or slightly less common like Rufus John

If you want to use James or George you could stick something in the middle - James Alexander John, or George Nathaniel John etc

It doesn’t matter if John doesn’t go unless you’re using them as a hyphenated first name. They’ll hardly be said out loud together.

I like James best.

I like George and James best but they don't sound great with John. Arthur is fine and clearly goes well with John. I like the idea of 2 middles to make either George or James work better.

Edgar John
Rufus John
Magnus John
Felix John
Casper John
Edward John
Patrick John

I'd go with James out of your choices as prefer that name. Middle names are rarely used, only for things like bank forms and John is a plain and regular name.

I like James John best. Arthur is nice but very trendy and George is super popular.

Two 1 syllables names don't "flow" as well together when said aloud but they look fine written down and you'll only say the middle name occasionally. Imo it's far better to choose a first name like James that isn't too popular, but which is still very timeless with lots of nn choice if he wants - JJ (for James John), Jay, Jim, Jem, Jamie etc.
