Open to anything! I’m the only one who calls DS Joseph, he is mostly known as Joe/JoJo. Names I like for boy no.2 so far are:

Benjamin
Sebastian
Freddie

Any other good choices?

Benjamin works well imo - Joe and Ben, both down to earth, well known, classic Biblical names (nothing like Ben and Jerry's to me - maybe if you had a Jeremy instead of a Joseph!).

Samuel (Sam), Thomas (Tom) and Daniel (Dan) also sound great to me with Joseph/Joe, as do fellow classics William (Will), Edward (Ed/Ned/Ted) and Alexander (Alex).

If you want something a bit more unusual, I think Nathaniel (Nate) or even Maximilian (Max) could also work (as the nicknames are more "everyday" like Joe to me).
