You can go right down to ingredients such as Paprika if you want more variety

Mine would have to be...

Cocoa for a girl.

Merguez

Thank goodness I'm too old to have another baby!

Clementine. Well, it’s actually just an ‘easy peeler’ and could possibly be a satsuma but that’s not as pretty.
Otherwise I’ll be going all Gwyneth Paltrow and naming my baby Apple

Thecatsawinner · 06/05/2021 11:45

Kit Kat - great name

PhilCornwall1 · 06/05/2021 11:47

Malted Milk Biscuit. Hyphenate the Malted Milk part and the child is instantly posh!!

Has a certain ring to it.

Nightbear · 06/05/2021 11:51

Honey (with yoghurt as the twin that drew the short straw.)

longwayoff · 06/05/2021 11:52

Consommé and linguine.

Carrot (middle name celery)

rooarsome · 06/05/2021 11:59

Fava beans

Ilovemaisie · 06/05/2021 12:00

longwayoff I hope that's for twins !!

Arbadacarba · 06/05/2021 12:00

Apple

Perhaps that's what Gwyneth Paltrow did Grin.

Echobelly · 06/05/2021 12:01

Another Almond here - honestly it's not that bad as food names go!

Kljnmw3459 · 06/05/2021 12:01

Wotsit

Orangesand · 06/05/2021 12:02

Peppermint

I actually think that's a nice name for a pet!

Nitw1t · 06/05/2021 12:05

All bran...

King of the seven kingdoms.

TagsMum · 06/05/2021 12:09

Wotsit butty Hmm

MikeWozniaksGloriousTache · 06/05/2021 12:11

@Soubriquet

Ah but what did you have on your toast?

Maybe you could get variety from that?

It would be a choice of Marmite or Lemon Curd (I always have one slice of each savoury then sweet) ... maybe twins (boy / girl) would work with those names 😂
FunnyWonder · 06/05/2021 12:14

Apricot

(trying to use up the THREE boxes of Apricot Wheats I somehow accumulated and which DS1 has 'gone off' - after refusing to eat anything else for months and me having to search the four corners of the globe to get them during lockdown ... ahem, sorry for that)

Blowingagale · 06/05/2021 12:14

Cheese. I’ll put Cheddar Crumpet on the birth certificate though, just to make things annoying for them with a different official name.

Boondia · 06/05/2021 12:14

My lovely DD is named Burrito

wellingtonsandwaffles · 06/05/2021 12:16

Peanut
Jam
Toast

I know someone called Jam (James) and Peanut is cute I guess so could have been worse!

Thoughtcontagion · 06/05/2021 12:16

Mines going to be double barreled

Lentil-Curl, Len for short

InTheNightWeWillWish · 06/05/2021 12:18

Well I’m currently pregnant and just eaten a ritz cracker for nausea, so...

Boy - Ritz
Girl - Sunflower (oil from the ingredients)
I could probably also tenuously change barley from the ingredients to Bailey, which could work for either.

I’ll suggest these to DH at lunch Grin

Postern · 06/05/2021 12:19

Meet my twins, Kimchi and Kombucha. Grin

(I swear I'm not making this up, I stopped by a market stall to buy apples and on impulse bought a box of 'vegan mezze' which consisted mostly of kimchi, and a kombucha (mainly because I had no idea what it was...)
