Thoughts on Zoe? Is it a bit dated / 90s? Do you know any?

Lovely name. I know one age 12.

Love it. I see it as classical, not dated!

I know several in their mid 40s. I was very popular in the mid 70s! I do know a few younger ones, around 10 and a couple in their 30s.

I know a five year old Zoe & a forty year old one. I think it’s pretty timeless.

It does say 90s to me but I think 90s names are coming back. I like the Zoey spelling too.

Love it, but it should be Zoë really. The dieresis over the e shows that both vowels are pronounced. So Zo-we. Without the dieresis the pronunciation should be Zow (as in low, not cow).

It's okay, not a particular fave (I tend not to like "ee" ending names though) - but I don't think it's dated, I've met a few of different ages. I personally prefer the sound of Eve which has the same meaning.

Or Xanthe if you want the "z" and "ee" sounds is also lovely imo.

I know a ten year old Zoe. I wanted to use it if I had a girl but I have two boys.

Lovely - there’s a Zoe at my school and she’s a really nice wee girl. My best friend growing up was also called Zoe and she was the only Zoe I knew. Very short and simple yet nice!
