Lucas?

I can't decide on a name. Me and my partner like a name for a while and then we decide we don't want to use it for some reason

At the moment the name is Lucas, but we're not sure as we don't want his name to be shortened to Luke when he's a baby (when he's older and at school etc it'd obviously be his choice).

Weve shortened our list and we also agree on: Finn, Thomas (but we can't use it), and Ryan. At the top is Lucas though.

Opinions please

I am a teacher and we have 3 Lucas and 1 Lucus in a year group of 80. None of them are shortened to Luke. I find it hard to get over the rhyme with mucous.

Finn is my favourite from your list. I like Flynn as well.

I as at school with a Lucas. Wasn’t shortened but was called Pukas.

I’m a big fan of Finn even though it’s super popular.
