Please help me narrow down these boys names!

I’m terribly indecisive at the best of times but baby boy names is blowing my mind 🙈
The below is the list we have so far. Our surname is a nice/ordinary two syllable name. We want something not toopopular but not completely out there with the option for a nickname.
Grateful for those below which you like(if any!!); I know there will be plenty of awful relatives or dogs with these names but I won’t meet them so please do be kind!!

Tobias (Toby) - not keen, maybe because I live in Germany and it's the same sort of generation as Philip, Richard, Mark etc here - has a middle-aged ring to it. Plus don't like Toby - cutesy.
Felix - I feel like I should like this as it ticks a lot of my boxes (classic, international, not overly frequently ised), but I don't
Silus - do you mean Silas? No. How about Seth for a similar vibe?

Phineas (Finn) - this is OK but I think Finn is a stretch
Rollo - no. You're clearly too young to remember King Rollo
James - nice
Magnus (Gus/Max) - nice, but I don't think either of your 'nicknames'/shortenings work
Emmett - Emmett Till. Very sad association. No
Emil - Like this, v popular in Germany just now, but don't like the pronunciation it would get in English

Otis - bit overdone
Colton (Colt) - fine if you see him starring in a 70s throwback detective series
Emerson (Sonny) - no, too surnamey and again a torturously derived shortening

Otto (middle name) - no. This one hasn't come back in German old man chic, for a reason

Reuben (Roo) - nice, but again, why impose a 'nickname'?
Phoenix (middle name) - no
Laszlo - have you Hungarian connections?
Lysander (zander/sandy) - nice name but again, far-fetched shortenings
Lev - odd choice if you aren't Russian

‘By not obvious nicknames’ I think with some of them if you want to use Sonny or Gus then just go with that.
