Helena.

I don't like Christina at all, and would always pick Isabel over Isabella.

Mackie2020 · 12/03/2021 09:54

Love Helena

KirstenBlest · 12/03/2021 09:56

Helena - nice but a bit vowel heavy and there are lots of El- names around. Quite popular. Can be pronounced Helen-a, Hel-aina or Helena. I much prefer Helen.

Christina - nice, could be Chris, Chrissie Christie, Tina etc

Isabella - lovely BUT there are so many Isabels, Isabelles, Izzys. Not keen on Izzy or Bella. Too long

I'd drop Isabella from the list and choose Christina.

I'd be more likely to use Helen. Simple, classic, can't go wrong.

AdaColeman · 12/03/2021 10:00

Christina, a beautiful name, very elegant for a grown woman.

Isabella and its various versions have been hugely popular in recent years, and Helena is rapidly becoming extremely popular, so I would choose the less used Christina which also has some pretty nicknames.

Peachbubble · 12/03/2021 10:33

Helena or Christina - both classic, but underused atm.
There are so many Isabellas around just now and it would put be off choosing the name, personally.

PatsyStone39 · 12/03/2021 10:38

Christina would be my choice. I do love Helena, too, but it's pronounced in so many different ways, it may be worth considering if this would annoy you/your DD when she's older.

TempsPerdu · 12/03/2021 10:58

Helena for me. A less used classic, Shakespearean, elegant... only issue for me is possible pronunciation issues.

I do quite like Christina; it’s strong and elegant and will stage a comeback soon I’m sure, but in my head it’s still linked to 1970s American prom queens, plus I’m not keen on Chris/Chrissie/Tina etc.

Isabella is just too frilly and flouncy for my taste, and I feel like it’s had its moment now.

bourbonne · 12/03/2021 11:00

Christina. Isabella very now, Helena leaves me cold and has pronunciation issues.

user1493494961 · 12/03/2021 11:02

Love Isabella.

elliemara · 12/03/2021 11:44

Helena - my favourite as it's a beautiful, classy name that is not heard too often these days. Lovely choice.

Christina I find a bit dated - also would prefer Christine.

Isabella is a bit too frilly and very popular these days.

Lillylola · 12/03/2021 12:16

What do you think if I change them to

Christiana ?
Isabel ?

Christina or Christiana. Both are lovely.

RickOShay · 12/03/2021 12:18

Helena

LadyDanburysHat · 12/03/2021 12:18

Isabella is also lovely, but Isabel is very popular, so she may end up as one of many Izzys

RickOShay · 12/03/2021 12:18

Love Christiana

MuddleMoo · 12/03/2021 12:22

I like Christina or Helen. I don't like the other suggestions sorry

MuddleMoo · 12/03/2021 12:23

Christiana is nice too sorry missed that one

sarah13xx · 12/03/2021 12:41

Isabella out of them (nn Ella)

I went to school with an Eleena and always thought it was a lovely name

GreenBalaclava · 12/03/2021 12:54

Helena is my favourite

Ismellphantoms · 12/03/2021 13:04

Christiana is a lovely old name. Much nicer than Christina. Helena is fine. There's so many Isabellas.

Ooh yes. Christiana is a lovely one too. Old-fashioned but not fusty at all.
KirstenBlest · 12/03/2021 13:10

I don't like Christiana or any of the -iana names apart from Diana.
Christina is lovely but add the extra nameand the -iana bit takes over.
