What would you name triplets!

Just a fun game! If you found out you were pregnant with triplet girls.. what would you name them?!

•would you make them matchy such as same letter initials
•would you make them completely different
•would you give them the same middle names or different?

I can't be 100% sure but I think I'd pick out of..

Daphne
Cecily/Cecilia (CeCe)
Penelope
Felicie
Adelie
Margaux

Please tell me what you would choose from! X

Hayden, Jayden and Okayden for girls

Tom, Dick and Harry for boys

BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz · 03/03/2021 12:13

@MamaDane

If I was pregnant with triplets it would be fetal reduction 1 fetal reduction 2 Emilia
Same!
anappleadaykeeps · 03/03/2021 12:15

Abraham, Beatrice and Cecily....

To be shortened to Abe, Bea and Cee obviously

Brandysnapzzz · 03/03/2021 12:17

@EllieQ I came here to say this 😆

Well more precisely I was going to say…

Mary Helena
Mary Constance
Mary Margaret

To be known as: Len, Con & Margot

😜

HadEnoughOfBears · 03/03/2021 12:27

@EllieQ

Helena Constance Margot

Smile

Do you think you would shorten them at all?
HadEnoughOfBears · 03/03/2021 12:28

I would have Laura, Gemma & Nadia

GeorgiaGirl52 · 03/03/2021 12:35

Faith, Hope, and Grace

Samuel, Daniel, Josiah

PatsyStone39 · 03/03/2021 12:38

I think I would have Dahlia, Amara and Merida.

EllieQ · 03/03/2021 12:58

@HadEnoughOfBears I probably would shorten them as @Brandysnapzzz suggested, and send them off to boarding school as soon as possible!

I’m struggling to think of other sets of names for these imaginary triplets. Grin I like:
Antonia
Arabella
Bethany
Cassandra
Georgia
Lois
Louisa
Stella
Verity
Veronica

But none of them seem to go well together!

Aroundtheworldin80moves · 03/03/2021 13:00

Isla, Iona, and Skye

WeBuiltThisBuffetOnSausageRoll · 03/03/2021 13:04

Isla, Iona, and Skye

Absolutely perfect to go with their older conjoined-twin brothers Harris and Lewis Grin

LinghamStyle · 03/03/2021 13:36

Buffy, Kendra and Faith.

grey12 · 03/03/2021 14:14

@GeorgiaGirl52

Faith, Hope, and Grace

Samuel, Daniel, Josiah

Wow! That's a good combination
17caterpillars1mouse · 03/03/2021 14:22

Jocelyn Olivia Judith
Oona Madeleine Bryony
Hebe Florence Freya

BertieBotts · 03/03/2021 14:29

Oh I like girls' names, I think I'd just go for names I like!

Probably

Luna
Heidi
Astrid

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 03/03/2021 14:40

@EllieQ

Helena Constance Margot

Smile

That was what I was going to suggest, @EllieQ! Great minds.
hollyannfra2020 · 03/03/2021 14:41

I think I would give them their own initials -A Fabulous if not terrifying problem to have though !

felulageller · 03/03/2021 14:53

They would have to go together.
Eg Charlotte Emily and Lacey just wouldn't happen!

I'd theme something like Greek myths, same number of letters, all ending in a consonant or something.

CarriesFlower82 · 03/03/2021 14:55

Violet, Mabel and Felicity.

KirstenBlest · 03/03/2021 15:06

April, May and June but only if born in the winter or autumn.

Faith, Hope and Joy but only if surname starts with Less

1940s · 03/03/2021 15:12

Annie, Caroline and Marigold

Alakazam8 · 03/03/2021 15:17

Angelica, Eliza and Peggy!
(Thought someone else might have said that by now!)

MimiDaisy11 · 03/03/2021 15:32

I'd do a sky/space theme. Maybe something like:

Aurora
Celeste
Stella

ParisJeTAime · 03/03/2021 16:44

No matchy!

I'd go with my favourite girl names, which are rather classic...some might say boring, with Irish middle names maybe.

Sarah (Sally for nn) Róisín
Emma Blathnaid
Catherine (nn Kate or Kitty) Aoife
