Name dilemma

Hi! Reposting this as didn't get much traction and running out of time!

Our boy will be called Luke Aaronsen
We'd like a middle name for him with a certain type of vibe but just can't decide, tricky surname to fit as well.
We like names like Rupert, Hugo, William and Edward (although off those two at the moment as a bit too common) Jolyon, Monty, Charles, Edwin etc. I guess they're posh/aristocratic/royal names mostly. Open to ideas.
Thank you :-)

Have you got any relatives who had cool names to use as a middle one?

Alas, zero cool names in the family!

Love Wilfred but isn't that Boris's son? Not sure we can pull that off. Barnaby is good but my friend has just used that.

Luke Edward Aaronsen sounds good and flows nicely...

resm · 10/02/2021 15:15

I think Luke Henry has a really nice ring to it.

Also like Luke Francis and Luke Alexander.

Henry is nice. I can't use Alexander as there's so many in the family already!

Sorry, replied to wrong person. I did like Edward but it's so common now I'm not sure about it.

I think middle name threads don't get as many replies as some people don't consider the middle name choices as important (and many people use family or friends names as middle names to honour them anyway).

Suggestions for less common, "aristocratic sounding" options (mostly 2 syllable since that flows well with a 1 syllable first, 3 syllable surname)
Edgar
Edmund
Phillip
Magnus
Marcus
Maxim
Ivo
Alfred
Nico (or Nicolas)
Jasper
Erik

CaffiSaliMali · 10/02/2021 17:42

Edmund - goes nicely like Edward does but much less common.
