Girl name ideas English/French/Indian

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for ideas for girls names that are at least reasonably pronounceable and not ridiculous in a few languages.

We are both British and I'm half Indian and we have just moved to a French speaking country and could be staying for years. French/English/European ease of spelling/pronunciation more important than Hindi though. This is our first child.

Thanks

I don’t have a Hindi keyboard on my phone but ideally nothing with a prominent D or T (as in Aditi) as it will be mauled by monolingual English speakers. Nothing with R as it will be pronounced differently in each language although the French and English are close.

Girls I know with similar heritage (not actually that unusual because of Pondicherry and Mauritius) are called Leela, Natasha, Livia and Selina. Obviously those are missing the Sanskrit-origin cachet that upper caste Indians like but then you really are limiting your options.

I've met a couple of Indian Serena's which I always think is pretty. And I think Anna and Maya are used in most countries?

The first name that came to mind was Selina
I think this spelling is Indian, but the French Celine sounds very similar and is Celina in Spanish and Italian and also widely known in the UK.

Serena is lovely and underused. Feels international and easy to pronounce to me. Much prettier than Selena.

Anna and Elisabeth are used all around the West.
