Which do you prefer?

Definitely Lucy Eleanor. Flows much better than Penny Eleanor.

ChalkDinosaur · 16/12/2020 21:33

I think Lucy Eleanor. Penny Eleanor made me think Beatles straight away whereas Lucy Eleanor is a bit more subtle, and I think it scans a bit better.

I think if I had to say Penny Eleanor in a hurry there’s a danger I’d end up coming out with Paella. It’s a tongue twister.

So I’d vote for Lucy.

Or Penelope Eleanor? Love that

supersonicginandtonic · 17/12/2020 08:19

@laurielo it's rather long and me and DP both have long names on our birth certificates we never ever use. It's annoying to both of us.

Lucy Eleanor

Not keen on Penny as a name, and the repeated -en- sound doesn't work for me. Lucy is a lovely name. So is Eleanor.

MercyBodle · 17/12/2020 08:43

I like both but Lucy Eleanor is quite lovely.

Lucy by a country mile.

I like Penny but only as nickname and I don't think it flows well with Eleanor.

JonHammIsMyJamm · 17/12/2020 09:18

Lucy

Poppyolive90 · 17/12/2020 09:19

Lucy

In the grand scheme of things we'll hardly use the middle name.
