Merryn . Bottom would be Lucy / Merla

Tempjob · 16/12/2020 14:23

Another beautiful name is Merrell or Meryl. But out of your list I love Merryn.

Chilldonaldchill · 16/12/2020 15:13

Merryn or Louisa

Firebird83 · 16/12/2020 19:56

Louisa or Merryn

IamnotwhouthinkIam · 16/12/2020 20:08

Louisa is lovely and would be my choice - classic but not overused. Meriel is very unusual but quite pretty and would be my 2nd choice. Merryn is okay and would be my third. Louise feels a bit dated, Lucy a bit too sweet for me, and Merla too odd.

YoniAndGuy · 16/12/2020 20:15

Merryn Louise is perfect. Merry is such a lovely nickname.

RickOShay · 16/12/2020 20:18

I love Meriel, such a pretty and unusual name. That would be my choice hands down.

Cotswoldmama · 16/12/2020 20:37

What about Moira? I love that name, maybe because I know a lovely Moira!

pinguwings · 16/12/2020 20:42

Definitely Merryn (but I'm biased as I have a gorgeous 3 year old one!)

MeMeMeYou · 16/12/2020 21:01

Louisa, or Merle

MercyBodle · 17/12/2020 03:06

Lucy is my favourite. Louisa is nice enough, and Merryn is okay.

MaliceOrgan · 17/12/2020 03:07

I love Lucy

sofialime · 17/12/2020 17:46

Merryn,Louisa,Meriel.

spiderlight · 17/12/2020 19:59

Lucy or Merryn. Friends of ours have a Merrilyn, known as Merry.

Chickenwing · 17/12/2020 20:01

I love Louise but others would say it's outdated.

user1493494961 · 17/12/2020 20:05

Lucy or Louisa.

Notajogger · 17/12/2020 20:05

Merryn

Sausagedog1 · 17/12/2020 20:50

I love Louisa and Merryn, I find Lucy very bland and Louise dated.
I've never heard of the other two.

lilly2000 · 17/12/2020 21:06

Louisa or Merryn!

BillysMyBunny · 17/12/2020 21:10

I love Merryn. I’ve never heard the name Merla before but I quite like it. Not keen on the others.

RosesAndHellebores · 17/12/2020 21:18

There were a couple of Meriels in the year above me at school (I am 60). It was unusual and pretty then and they were both utterly lovely and very clever. One very musical and one v artistic. I think Meriel wins hands down. Pretty, slightly unusual without being out there.

I love the name Louisa but every I've ever known has either been very wet or very bitchy.

Lucy is short for Lucinda which is another great name. Actually Lucinda autocorrected to Lucia which is great and I know some fab ones.

SquigglePigs · 17/12/2020 21:18

Louisa and Merryn are my favourites. Lucy is lovely too.

Porridgeoat · 17/12/2020 21:21

Lucy

pipipi · 17/12/2020 21:22

Merryn or Meriel.
Such a refreshing change from the popular names without being made up, extra sugary or silly. Good choices. I think Meriel is the most darling.
