When did you get used to your DC's names?

We have a 3 month old boy and I am still not entirely comfortable with addressing and refering to him by his name. I do make a conscious effort to use it daily, but it still feels a bit weird and doesn't come as natural to me as baby, sweetie, etc. With my dd1, her name suited her straight away. With dd2 it took a few weeks, I can't remember how many, but was def less than 3 months.
Just to add that his name was not my first choice, in fact it wasn't even on my list, but I was talked into it by dh. I dont know if that has anything to do with it.
Anyone else had similar experience? Will he ever grow into his name?

Thank you all Flowers
So I've spent a few days thinking and exploring my feelings about it, had a few chats with my mum and my dh, and I have to say I feel more positive now. I've also ordered a cute stuffed letters name banner for his room, quite excited about receiving that.
As for his older siblings - my eldest DD hasn't really been using his name much, apart from once or twice. She says she doesn't like it and just calls him "the baby" all the time. I think she must have picked up on my insecurity about it (she is very sensitive). Middle DD though - totally different picture, she calls him by his name regularly and announces it proudly to anyone who asks Grin Hearing her say it, is just the cutest and definately helps a lot towards me being optimistic about it.

I felt like that for months! People would ask me her name and I would have to think what it was

I believe the MN go-to for a baby girl whose name momentarily escapes you when asked is 'Richard'. Grin
