Any ideas? Stuck with a list that we don't love, and struggling to find 'the one'...

@WhiskersPete I like Anoushka, but quite a harsh sounding name, not sure... Deciding between Aria and Ahana at the moment..

I LOVE Ahana

Shanti is my favourite Desi girl's name, but I also love Aishi, Anjali, Aditi (you seem to like 'A' names) and Kiran if any of those appeal.

What do you think of the name Ruhi (pronounced roo-hee), weird or nice? There's also Aruhi, which I like but prefer Ruhi... I might start a new thread about this.

Rohini and Ruhani are options but don;t like them as much...

I love Rohini but I knew a not very pleasant Ruhani/Ruwani so I'd be less keen on that!

Ruhi means 'Leave!' in Arabic so again I'm
not keen but that's only because that's what I hear.

Do you have Indian heritage? Any relatives that you could ask? You could follow the traditional naming ceremony etiquette & use the last name standing if you have a few favourites.

I really like rohan for an Indian boys name. My sister was thinking of this for her youngest if she was a boy.

@Chailatte20 Yes we are Indian and our family/ relatives love all the options, everyone seems to like Aria, Ahana, Rohini/Ruhani/Ruhi the most out of the list and different people have different preferences, but picking 'the one' is proving to be quite challenging, especially with so many lovely options to choose from
