Which one? Middle name likely Ann (family name).

Gabriella doesn’t have to be shortened to Gabi, mine is shortened to Ella

BusMum79 · 10/11/2020 21:37

I have a Gabriella, so I’m biased! The girl after 2 boys and my two DS chose her name. She’s just starting to speak, and calls herself “Gabby” so do her big brothers, and - tbh- so do DH and I, more and more. We don’t really shorten our sons’ names, it’s just with her really! I’m absolutely fine with that, but if you’re not too keen on Gabby, as others have said, may be an issue!

Sienna Danielle is nice

Thank you all for the input!

@BusMum79 I'm laughing that your boys chose the name, I've suggested a few names to my boys (including the ones suggested here) and my eldest is flat out convinced I'm making these up and they aren't real names 😂

So far my 7has suggested Aurora (which he can't even pronounce correctly "Aroya") my 5yo has suggested "Pikachu" and the 3yo said "poopoo" is nice.

Hahaha! Well, my middle DS (then nearly 4) wanted “Bagheera” as in, the Jungle Book Grin

For various reasons, we had basically narrowed our only boy choice down to Gabriel. I was convinced it would be a third boy... I would love to say that a huge amount of thought had gone into it for them, but my then 5yo said: “Is there a girl version of Gabriel? Gabriella? Let’s just do that then!”
She was born in July, so his unfailing logic then dictated that her name should be “Juliet”. We obviously wouldn’t have gone for anything totally outlandish- not even Bagheera! Haha

BusMum79 · 10/11/2020 22:10

*middle name is Juliet

Strokethefurrywall · 10/11/2020 22:30

My niece is nearly 14 named Gabriella, and from day 1 her nickname was Gigi, she never has been (nor ever will be according to her), a Gabby.

Firebird83 · 10/11/2020 23:43

Vivienne Danielle

Sienna is going to date badly

AlwaysLatte · 10/11/2020 23:43

Sienna is a colour, it's existed forever, I'd say it will date pretty well.
mathanxiety · 11/11/2020 01:46

Sienna Vivienne would be nice.

You could tack Ann on as a third name if you want to include it.

LaBodDelMed · 11/11/2020 01:57

Love Vivienne, nn Vivi - gorgeous

octoberfarm · 11/11/2020 02:09

Sienna, then Gabriella then Vivienne.

FortunesFave · 11/11/2020 03:30

A girl in my class was always called "scabby Gabby" which was awful but obvious to mean 12 year olds. I like Vivienne.

Ellmau · 11/11/2020 09:38

What about Viviana instead of Vivienne? It incorporates a form of Ann so you could have Viviana Gabriella, or Viviana Gabrielle, which would be lovely.
