Sister for William and Flora

DD2 due in a few weeks and struggling to find a name I love. Surname ends -ee-ee, so trying to avoid -ee ending names, though I do love Peigi (pronounced Peggy, Scottish spelling)

Current front runners
Greta (get that it’s a marmite name, much like Flora I suspect)
Clara

Thoughts appreciated! Thanks

Agree William and Flora have a sweet slightly old fashioned vibe, early 20th century. How about Martha? Elsie?

katy1213 · 07/11/2020 22:18

Caitriona or Elspeth.

Clara is fine 🧐 it's far different than Flora

DefinitelyMaybeBaby · 08/11/2020 06:22

Martha or Mabel sound sweet and fit well.

Clover?
Olivio?

workshyfop · 08/11/2020 11:50

Harriet was my immediate thought.
Anna or Rowena would be lovely too.

William and Flora are lovely and go nicely together. Clara is nice but too similar to Flora. I don't like Greta, it's too harsh compared to the other two.

William, Flora and Evelyn?

TempsPerdu · 08/11/2020 12:57

Hugely biased towards Greta, as we have one - agree it’s definitely a marmite name but the response we’ve had (in public anyway) has been overwhelmingly positive. Clara is lovely too, but perhaps a bit too similar sounding to Flora, and it’s increasingly popular where I am (I know 3 under 3).

Most of the other names we considered have already been listed, so apologies for duplicates:

Rosa
Anya
Honor
Juliet
Vita
Rowan
Nancy
Cleo
Alice
Iris
Helena

Would have added Clover too, as I love it, but belatedly got the connection with Flora! Blush
