What a gorgeous short list! We have similar tastes. Smile

Emily and Alice are two of my all-time favourite girl names so thumbs up for those.

I adore the simplicity of Anna and Rosa, plus they both travel well.

Isabel is great (and Isobel or Isabel are my personal preferred spellings) but they do seem to be a lot of Belles and Bellas around, which may bother you.

Eleanor is wonderful too, although I marginally prefer Elinor.

I would narrow it down to Alice, Anna or Eleanor. All beautiful names.

Isabel and Emily are also lovely names, but feel quite over-used to me. I'm not a fan of Rosa, though I love Rose.

DramaAlpaca · 30/10/2020 00:59

Anna, Alice or Rosa.

Itmaybeus · 30/10/2020 01:13

Emily.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 30/10/2020 01:53

Isabel.

All such lovely names! Anna is on my list as well, but it was a slow burner for me in terms of appeal. Actually, Emily was too because it was so ubiquitous when I was growing up, but now I quite like it.

As for Alice, I do find it sweet, a la Alice in Wonderland and a delightfully quirky/gothic girl I found fascinating when I was in high school, but the name itself sounds a bit old to me sometimes. I would classify it as a vintage. Eleanor is similar to me in terms of seeming granny chic, but in this case, I really don't see the appeal par the nicknames and the historic bearer, Eleanor Roosevelt.

Isabel is my favorite of its variations and it's quite nice too

The only Rosa I've ever been aware of is Rosa Parks, so while she is a great namesake, I don't like the name itself. However, Rose is sparse, yet gorgeous.

My favorites are Anna and Rose (if the latter were an option).

Enko · 30/10/2020 09:11

Rosa as to me its the only one she won't have another of in her class. The others are perfectly fine safe names

CharityPecksniff · 30/10/2020 09:13

Anna.
I also prefer Rose to Rosa.

CaffiSaliMali · 30/10/2020 10:07

They're all lovely. Rosa and Alys are on my list so Rosa and Alice are my favourites.

I love Anna, Isabel and Eleanor too but can't use them myself sadly.

I like Eleanor a lot - it's a strong name and I like that how old it is as a name. Eleanor of Aquitaine comes to mind.

Same with Isabel - I like how long it has been in use although Isabelle is very popular. I like Isabella too.

Same again with Alice. It's a solid classic and is pretty without being frilly.

I like the simplicity of Anna and it has an international feel.

My Mam worked with a lady named Rosa when I was a child and I've loved the name since. It has a classic but also modern feel, which I like.

You can't go wrong with any of them but I think Rosa is my favourite overall.

pinkpinecone · 30/10/2020 10:11

Rosa or Isabel

emilybrontescorsett · 30/10/2020 22:23

Such lovely names, I'd go with Anna.

Robinrrhill · 31/10/2020 00:09

I love the name Emily. Even though it is popular it just sounds so pretty.
Eleanor is a beautiful name however I knew an Eleanor that everyone kept calling Elena and no one could pronounce it right.

Ghosts2020 · 31/10/2020 03:12

Alice 2❔like not favourite
Isabel no ❌
Emily 1 ✔️ love

namechangefail2020 · 31/10/2020 03:14

Rosa

TabithaMeow · 31/10/2020 05:02

Rosa 100%. Then Eleanor or Isabel. And then Alice after those.

TabithaMeow · 31/10/2020 05:03

They are all nice and classic in my opinion, except Emily which seems a little dull

Greyhoundgirly · 31/10/2020 14:33

All lovely!! As one pp said I think depends on your surname. Am pretty sweet on Eleanor though x
