Mine would have been Spike and Merlin. Luckily the pethedine wore off quickly both times Grin

My fantasy twin girls are still called Romy and Piper though....

@LedaandtheSwan

Daisy Minerva or Thalia Minerva. Minerva is the Roman Goddess of arts, knowledge and war. I didn't get my own way, she's called something far more mundane.

If we'd had a boy his middle name would have been Ramses (king of Egypt) or Alfred. I like history, ok? Grin

Minerva is also Minnie Mouse's name, which is what I think of when I hear it now :P

I really like names where Lucy can be the nickname like Lucinda but my partner doesn't like it.

HillaryWhitney · 31/10/2020 12:14

DH vetoed Rufus for DS2 which pisses me off as it means 'red haired' and guess what colour his hair is? Yep, ginger Grin

Was always Seth and Phoebe

Sadly I had miscarriages instead ... now pushing 40 and the hope is diminishing each day

If the miracle does happen though, I’d like a Benjamin / Gus or a Florence / Milly

riotlady · 31/10/2020 14:07

Mabel, Josephine or Juniper

Nonamesavail · 31/10/2020 14:11

I have 4.

I wanted: Leonie, Alexander, Isolde and Lilith!

Greyhoundgirly · 31/10/2020 14:19

GuineviereBlush

yellow25 · 31/10/2020 14:28

I want a little girl called Stella.

So far I have only had boys and we have happily agreed on their names....

GallopingGreen · 31/10/2020 14:33

Peter and Genevieve... still like them. DH vetoed both

Spied · 31/10/2020 14:38

I wanted Anna, Alice or Carmen.
DP hated all of them.
We settled on a name he hated less and I didn't like as much.
DS would have been Aidan or Luke.
We settled on a name dp chose that I like but don't love.

HillaryWhitney · 31/10/2020 14:51

@Changedname81 hugs to you, I hope your miracle happens soon🤞🏼

Genevieve is on my list for a future daughter 😊
MockneyReject · 31/10/2020 18:49

Elvis. For either sex.

DarkChic · 31/10/2020 22:53

My DS would have been Caleb if I'd had my own way

davekim · 31/10/2020 23:07

Ralph or Elliot for a boy.
Stella or Violet for a girl.

ForestYeti · 31/10/2020 23:11

Autumn and Amber were two I absolutely loved, I got one of my other favourites though and my favourite boys name

foxtiger · 01/11/2020 09:52

DS1 would have been Jago.

Not sure about DS2 - once you choose Jago (which I didn't in real life) you're kind of limiting yourself to unusual names. I liked Jarvis at one stage but I don't like using the same initial for siblings. The other name I liked and DH didn't was Matthew, which again doesn't really fit with Jago.

A DD would have been Sarah but DH likes that anyway, so I would probably have used it whether he had a say or not. But if I already had a Jago and was looking for something more unusual, maybe Francesca or Iris.

Aneley · 01/11/2020 10:02

If DD was a son she would have been Bogdan Theodore. Means "gift from God" as she truly was - we waited for her almost a decade.

BunAndOven · 01/11/2020 18:01

I'm 6 weeks pregnant

I love Rafferty for a boy

Isadora for a girl

DH has vetoed them both Sad

hestiaplimpsoll · 01/11/2020 18:08

Currently pregnant with another DD and am desperate for Minerva but DH has vetoed... I can't lobby harder as I named DD1 a name that often comes up on 'if I was braver I'd have used ...' threads and he just had to get on board.

The name DD2 will likely be is also on this thread and I am gunning for Minerva as a middle name ... Wish me luck Wink

Floralnomad · 01/11/2020 18:12

Ds would have been Angus or possibly Hubble
Dd would have been Claris or Esther
As it is they both have very sensible , very top 10 type names which do suit them . Ds is definitely not an Angus / Hubble although dd would be ok with either of the original choices .

Blackcountryexile · 01/11/2020 18:41

I liked Starr and Scarlet ( before the latter became popular). Perfectly happy with the more traditional names we agreed on.

thenewaveragebear1983 · 01/11/2020 22:01

I would have called ds3 Jett and it would have suited him so much. If we were to have a happy accident now, I would demand it.
