Like the saint? Asking for a friend Smile Any thoughts? Do you like it? Is it too much?

It's quite pretty. I'm unfamiliar with St Odilia. I think I prefer Odile/Odille as it's just a bit less fussy/frilly, but if I heard of a baby being named Odilia I'd think it was unusual and refreshing.

Thank you @DramaAlpaca! Glad you like it! I'd not heard of the other name you suggested it does sound very pretty! What do you think of Ophira, another option? It is a biblical place name (well, a feminine version of the biblical 'Ophir')

Umm, my first thought is a gin called something very similar if not the same, so probably not!

Btw I used to have a gorgeous cat called Tabitha so I love your username Grin

I like it. Never heard of it before. Remu is me if Ophelia.

dotoallasyouwouldbedoneby · 27/10/2020 01:59

Sounds too much like 'odour'

ZoyaTheDestroyer · 27/10/2020 07:25

I prefer Odile, which is another form of the saint’s name, as long as you aren’t bothered by the character in Swan Lake.

I’m not keen on Ophira and as a pp has said there is a brand of gin called Ophir. Ophelia / Ofelia? Portia?

Katgolde · 27/10/2020 07:30

Ophira is nice.

MikeUniformMike · 27/10/2020 11:47

O Delia. Lifetime of correcting people?

Enko · 27/10/2020 13:25

I think many woild hear Ophelia as people are more aware of that name. Ophira is nice but does remind me of ophir gin
