Lucy, it's the name of the little girl from Narnia. Lucienne sounds like a boys name to me and although Lucie is pretty, I think shes would spend her whole life correcting people on the spelling as most people would assume it's Lucy

I like Lucie - I’ve know a lot of Lucy’s but only one Lucie so it feel rarer (while still being an acknowledged spelling etc).

From your list Lucy is the nicest. How about Lucinda? I think that is a really pretty and underused name if you want a longer version.

Lucy. Unless you want her to have to add with an 'ie' not a 'y' to the end of her name from the minute she can talk and for the rest of her life.

I think Lucy is best... Lucie just feels like you’re trying to make a point of being different, and you’ll always have to spell it out.

Not too keen on Lucienne - it sounds like there’s more than one Lucy in the class and this one is “Lucy N”. Or could also be pronounced “Loo-she-en”.

Sorry to be so negative - I do think the classic Lucy is lovely though.

Thank you for the feedback. Not so keen on Lucinda or Lucia. I hadn't thought of Lucienne as Lucy-N and that's put me off. Also the mention of it reminding someone of a boys name is something I also hadn't considered and I'm now reminded of Lucifer, Lucian etc.

I love Lucienne. Dh has an aunt with this name and I’ve always thought it was lovely.

I'd go for just Lucy. It's simple and pretty and it's the established spelling. Lovely name and meaning.

Lucy is classic and beautiful. Not Lucie unless you’re French, people will always misspell it. I like all the related names - Lucile, Lucia, Lucinda - but Lucy is the nicest imo.

Lucienne looks like a made up name, though it might not be, and is nowhere near as pretty as Lucy.

I love all three. I think Lucienne is a fresh and more unusual way of having a Lucy name. You could always use Lucy/Lucie as a nickname.
