What names work well with the surname...

Byrne (pronounced Burn)

There are lots of boys and girls names I like but none of them work that well with the surname.

Eg- Will Byrne and May Byrne

Looking for boys and girls names- even names with no connotation just fall a bit flat for me! I like traditional but not too popular names.

Emily Byrne is a character in the series Absentia. It's a bit mainstream for me but it does fit well together.

Looking at the names suggested above, I think the rhythm of a 3 syllable first name would sound good.

3 syllable names detract from the 'burn' meaning and sound lovely

I wouldn't get too stuck on your surname. Obviously you don't want anything that sounds really silly when said in full but remind yourself that 99% of time, it'll just be the first name that's used so focus on picking something you like.

If you want something fairly underused then obviously get a list of the top 100 names and avoid all of them.

I went to school with a James Byrne. He was lovely!
